Your Second Life name is your unique in-world identity. You're able to create your own first name and select from a wide variety of last names. Please choose your Second Life name carefully, since it can't be changed later. After you click Register Now, a password will be generated and emailed to you.

After registration
Once you've registered, sign in to Second Life and you will start off in Dublin in Second Life.

There are a number of signs around that will teach you about how to use Second Life and where to go next.

To get started, download the Second Life client (click here) then login with the credentials you specified.

Basic accounts are free but a valid email address is required. A good graphics card and a fast internet connection are recommended.
